CBC Upward Basketball and Cheerleading
The CBC Upward Ministry
includes Basketball and Cheerleading. It is our desire to use
the vehicle of sports to impact children and their families in
these areas:
Salvation - To share the love of Jesus Christ with everyone
involved in the Upward ministry.
Character - To help every child grow as Jesus did - spiritually,
physically, mentally, and socially.
Self-Esteem - To help every child grow in their understanding
and enjoyment of sports.
Information about the 2009 Upward season will be available this
fall.
We always look forward to serving both children and parents as
they come int o the CLC! See you on the courts!
My daughter
was on the verge of making her decision
about accepting Christ. Due to the wonderful
coaching and love shown by Steve Beard and
Ritchie Gaddis and the study booklets that were
given to her at the beginning she will be
baptized next week!! How many groups can say
that?!
