From Pastor Mike

What an awesome time of worship we had this past Sunday as we joined together to “Celebrate GO!” The Lord blessed us with a great summer of mission and ministry. It was only fitting that we thank Him for it.

We heard testimonies from groups that went to places like Cuba, Belize, Chicago, and also those who shared the gospel right here in Campbellsville and Taylor County. God blesses the church that goes because that’s why the church exists. When Jesus gathered the disciples together before He went back to heaven, He told them to “Go” out to every nation and share the gospel. Everything we have and do is focused on the one command:
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations” (Matt. 28:19).

Be ready to take part in the next round of mission trips and opportunities; they will surely come! We answer the call to “go” because Jesus answered the call for us and came into our world to give us life. Aren’t you grateful?

See You Sunday!

Dr. Mike O'Neal, Senior Pastor

Mission Dignity

Since 1918, GuideStone Financial Resources has been on a “Mission” to provide “Dignity” to retired Southern Baptist ministers, workers and their widows. These are men and women who have faithfully served God’s people and now find themselves struggling to meet even basic needs. Many served small, rural churches that paid only modest salaries and couldn’t afford to contribute to their pastors’ retirement. Often, these loyal soldiers of the cross had to work extra jobs just to make ends meet.

Mission Dignity currently helps almost 1,800 people with extra money needed for housing, food and vital medications. It has also ensured a well-deserved dignity, independence and, often, the ability to continue serving.

Maroon & White Day: August 21

We will invite all of the fall athletes and the Tiger Marching Band to join us for worship at 9AM and 11AM. At 10AM during the Sunday School hour, we will serve them breakfast in the CLC and Pastor Mike will have a short devotion. We need your help with breakfast! Please bring any breakfast foods: casseroles, biscuits, sausage, bacon, fruit, pastries, etc. We need it all! You will see more information about this soon in your Sunday School classes. Bring your dish to the CLC  by 9:45AM on August 21. Contact Justin McDonald, Activities Pastor for more information: or call 270-465-2683.
