Dr. Mike O'Neal
Senior Pastor

Mike began serving Campbellsville  Baptist Church in August 2013.  He’s pastored in Texas, Tennessee, and most recently in Louisville, Kentucky. He’s also been an adjunct faculty member of Southern Seminary, Boyce College, and Campbellsville University.

His vision for ministry is to glorify God by leading a local church to be healthy, vibrant, and growing, obeying the Great Commission of Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit.  Mike’s ministry passions are preaching the Bible, sharing the gospel, and discipling believers.

Mike has been married to Sarah since 1988 and they have three children.  In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, physical fitness, music, and reading.

He’s a graduate of the University of Kentucky (BA 1987), Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (MDiv 1990), and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (PhD 1996).  Mikes first book, Interpreting Habakkuk as Scripture, was published in 2007.  He’s also written for Preaching magazine.








Brad Lauer
Discipleship Pastor

Brad Lauer began his time with Campbellsville Baptist Church in May 2008. He holds degrees from Kentucky Wesleyan College and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. More than anything in ministry, Brad loves to create experiences for people to encounter Christ in small group and large group settings where relationships form with other believers. The second greatest love in Brad's life after Jesus Christ is his life-partner, Jennifer and they have been married since August 1994. God has blessed Brad and Jennifer with two wonderful children, Madison and Micah. In Brad's spare time he enjoys family outings, golf, basketball and biking.

David Johnson
Worship Pastor

David Johnson accepted the call into full time Christian service in 1984 and holds a Master of Church Music degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Joining the ministry team as Worship Pastor in July 1997, David has been instrumental in the creation of our contemporary worship service and the development of the Praise Team Ministry. Working with the youth choir "Salt," he enjoys taking the youth on mission trips and encouraging them to experience the movement of God in unique and powerful ways. He believes the Christian walk is summed up in one word - "Journey." His goal is to use the means of music and the arts to assist other pilgrims in their own path. When David is not serving our church he enjoys time alone hiking or canoeing. David has been married to his high school sweetheart Pam since 1978 and they have three wonderful daughters, and a precious Highland Terrier.





Justin McDonald
Activities Pastor

Justin began his time as Activities Pastor in June 2010. He is a native of LaGrange, KY. Justin began his undergraduate studies at the University of Kentucky in 2002 but eventually transferred to the University of the Cumberlands where he received a scholarship to play baseball. Justin studied Movement and Leisure and Religion while at UC, and graduated in 2006. After graduating college, Justin attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas where he received the degree Master of Arts of Christian Education with a concentraion in Church Recreation. Justin has served in Recreation Ministry since 2003, ministering in churches in Louisville, KY, Dallas, TX, and Atlanta, GA. He enjoys all aspects of recreation ministry, specifically sports camps and mission trips. He serves as an adjunct professor at Campbellsville University. He is married to Jessica and has 2 beautiful daughters, Kathryn Grace and Eva Jane, and a dog named Bailey. Justin enjoys cooking, playing sports, running and all things University of Kentucky. "Go Big Blue!"

Dr. Scott Wigginton
Counseling Pastor

Dr. Scott Wigginton serves part-time as Counseling Pastor at Campbellsville Baptist Church in addition to his full-time position as Associate Professor of Pastoral Ministries and Counseling at Campbellsville University. A licensed marriage and family therapist, he served from 1993-2004 as Executive Director of LiveCare Counseling Center and Counseling Minister at Walnut Street Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky. Scott has been married to Elizabeth for over 20 years and they are proud parents of Auburn, Hope and Caleb. Scott has earned M. Div., Th.M., and Ph.D. degrees form the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and is a clinical member and approved supervisor of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy as well as a clinical member of the American Group Psychotherapy Association and a Fellow with the American Association of Pastoral Counselors. In addition to counseling and teaching, he has written a family column for the Western Recorder, the weekly newspaper for the Kentucky Baptist Convention.

Anna Price
Interim Children's Pastor

Anna joined the team in January 2014 as Interim Children’s Pastor.  Anna grew up in Grayson, Kentucky, and graduated from Campbellsville University with a degree in Educational Ministry.  She married her best friend Chris in 2013, and they have a crazy basset hound named Bruce.  Anna is passionate about creating an exciting children’s ministry environment where children learn about the amazing love of Jesus Christ and where parents are equipped to disciple their children.  In her free time you can find Anna working on her latest Pinterest project, playing guitar, or at a Reds game with her husband.

Karen Edwards
Senior Pastor Ministry Assistant

Karen Edwards joined the CBC staff in January 2005. As Ministry Assistant to the Senior Pastor her passion is to do whatever it takes to be helpful and involved and to help minister to those who walk through the doors of Campbellsville Baptist Church. A native of Campbellsville, Karen is a pastor's wife and a great asset to her husband Kelvin, who is pastor of Aetna Grove Baptist Church in Green County. Karen and Kelvin have been married since 1982 and have two daughters and one grandchild.




Carrie Gaddis
Ministry Assistant for Worship and Communications

Since May 2006, Carrie has served as Ministry Assistant to the Worship Pastor. Her role is to support the work of the worship/music ministry and to help implement the vision cast by the Worship Pastor. Much of her time is spent working with the print media and other communications projects. Her goal is to serve the members of CBC with kindness and respect. Carrie graduated from Campbellsville University with her degree in Office Management and also earned her Masters of Business Administration from CU. She met her husband Mitch while in college at CU and they have been married since October 1997. They minister together in many areas of the worship ministry including Adult Choir, Praise Team, Orchestra and Children's Choirs.

Ministry Assistant for Discipleship

Mendi is from Campbellsville and recently graduated from Campbellsville University in spring 2012 where she received her bachelor's of science degree in Educational Ministries. She started working at Campbellsville Baptist Church in May 2012. While attending Campbellsville University Mendi found her calling into the ministry field, where she also led a Freshman Family Bible Study Group during the spring semester. During the Freshman Fmaily Bible Study, one of the members accepted Jesus during the semester and that created an even larger passion in her heart for lost people. All of her family lives here in Campbellsville, so in her spare time she is usually with them. She also has a precious little mixed dog named Sandi. "I thank God for allowing me this opportunity to work with Campbellsville Baptist Church, and I cannot wait to see what marvelous plans He has in store for us."



Rachel Moran
Ministry Assistant for Activities

Rachel is from Campbellsville, KY and graduated from Campbellsville University in May 2013. She is currently working on her Master's of Social Work Degree from CU. Rachel feels that the Lord is drawing her to work with children and work in Child Protective services. She is very much in love with elephants and loves to talk about them! "I'm so excited that I have the honor to work with everyone at Campbellsville Baptist Church and meet new faces. I have met so many already!"
