9:00 Breakfast time! Because of our lunch plans
we gave Jo Moxen (who runs the kitchen) the morning and afternoon
off. Cereal and fruit.
10:00 John gave us a good talk about Samson.
11:00 The weather was AMAZING so we planned for
VBS outside on the soccer pitch. We took turns telling today’s
story, Jesus walking on water, in creative ways. The caravan park
team also had a great day out there.
12:30 The whole group met at St. Patrick’s
Cathedral to see it and where he is buried. Then we split up into
groups to spend the afternoon in the town. Most got a chance to try
some fish and chips, but we’ve been told that it will be much
yummier on the north coast where we’re going on Saturday. There was
also a search for Plimsolls, a popular kind of girl’s shoe here.
3:00 Afternoon VBS time! Good times!
5:00 Back to the Murlough house for dinner.
7:30 Three of the VBS teams came together at
Knocknishina for one big block party type event. Facepainting,
crafts, footy (soccer), American football, and much more. The
remaining team stayed in Dundrum at the youth center working with
the inter-city youth there.
10:30 Home again, home again! Worship and Skype
time.
12:00 Bedtime!
