Women on Mission
|
|
The
Campbellsville Baptist Women on Mission is made up of four
groups that meet once a month.
Each of these groups encourage prayer for and study
of missions around the world, giving through our missions
offerings, and outreach ministry to our local community.
Also included in Women on Mission are the
Missions
Friends for preschoolers,
Girls in Action for grades 1-6 and Acteens for youth. |

Flora Dodson |
|
meets
third Thursday of the month -
2:00 p.m. |
| This
group was named after a missionary to China who was a native
of Somerset, KY. Ms.
Dodson had given a talk about her work at an early meeting
of this group and the ladies felt a personal connection with
ministry.
The Flora Dodson group targets senior
adult ladies who want to keep
abreast of the mission fields around the world and
especially feel the value of bringing specific needs of the
missionaries to the Lord in prayer.
They also encourage giving to mission offerings of
the church and denomination.
During their monthly meetings, a program is presented
from information from denominational mission magazines,
reports from local leaders, and frequently from college
related sources, such as the mission activities of the
college students and from interesting reports from the many
students who are "missionary kids".
For more information about the Flora Dodson group contact
Laura Tesseneer, 465-2470. |
