Medical Team - 2006

Serving the people...

In February 2006 six members from Campbellsville Baptist Church flew to west Africa to work in a medical clinic and teach in the local Baptist church in the Bobo-Dioulasso region of Burkina Faso. Team members included: Dr. Robert Romines, RN Dana Caulk, RN Ruthie Bender, Bro. Skip Alexander, Bro. Larry Rowell and Edwina Rowell.

Dr. Romines and his nursing team ministered to approximately 125 patients and the African pastors shared Christ with ever person the medical team treated. The medical team also did Wellness Clinics in several local Baptist churches to teach mothers how to re-hydrate sick infants, how to properly clean wounds, and general wellness issues such as good nutrition.

Bro. Skip and Bro. Larry did several teaching sessions with the local Baptist pastors and preached in the local Baptist churches. Edwina Rowell serves as the CBC Africa Mission Teams Coordinator.
